Time Service: Immediate (6 States require manual processing of 1-5 days)
Employees and volunteers driving on behalf of an organization can pose a very high risk to employers. An employer is held accountable to know or should have known if an employee or volunteer driving on company time is a safe driver. Driver’s license check is an essential part of a defense against negligent hiring claims for employees or volunteers who drive company vehicles or who drive their own vehicle on company business. Individual driver’s license checks are available from all states throughout the U.S., its Territories as well as Canada. A driver’s license check reviews the past three (3) to seven (7) years depending on available State records and are a complete chronological history of driver’s license issuance, restrictions, tickets, suspensions, status, and points accessed. Driver’s license check includes DUI's and all citations as reported by each state; some criminal searches will not show DUI's and they may only be found in driving records.
